The Lock Up programme of events 2018/19 Book early to avoid disappointment as we take you on a food and wine journey, the likes that have never been travelled in Redfield before! Saturday October 6th - 6 O’clock gin tasting. Chris Reynolds will be on the terrace all afternoon, showcasing the entire range of this awesome Bristol gin with a few canapés, savoury and sweet. No need to book, just roll up for a taste of the Mother’s ruin! Wednesday 5th December – Cheese and wine pairing. Dan from Billings and Briggs samples some awesome wines to go with awesome local cheeses that you are able to order for all your Yuletide needs and delivered before Santa turns up! Wednesday 12th December - Fondue! As the nights draw in, let us warm you with our fantastic fondue offerings. Charcuterie, tartiflette, bread & more cheese than you can ever imagine. And a pseudo chocolat chaud avec Cointreau fountain to finish. All paired with some interesting high altitude wines from Switzerland, Italy and Austria. Food on a stick, wine in a glass! Thursday 24th January 2019 – Burns Night. Enjoy poems along with cock-a-leekie, bagpipes with your neeps, tatties & a haggis. We will have cranachan for dessert; cheeses matched with a dram, and then write your own ode after copious amounts of whisky! Wednesday 6th February 2019 – Vegetarian night. We will be celebrating root vegetables, legumes, olive oil & nuts. Some amazing vegan, unfiltered wines will be another highlight of the night where we appreciate & champion just what you can do without meat. Thursday 14th February 2019 – Valentines night. We will be serving a 5 course menu, with a wine flight including bubbles all night. Due to popular demand we will also offer this menu upstairs on the Friday 15th February Wednesday 13th March 2019 – Foraged menu. Wild garlic, mushrooms, tickled trout and Danny the Champion of the world. A menu of wild produce, sourced from some of the country’s finest foragers. Elderflowers and Alexanders, sloe gin cocktails & wild fennel tea!

Tuesday 23rd October SOLD OUT – Game night.  From the Quantocks to the Mendips. Five courses showcasing some of the finest fowl and dearest deer. Learn how to pair grouse with Gewürztraminer and rabbit with Riesling.
